After being married for 25 years, the kids are out of the house and on their own, and Laurie and I are finally off on a BIG trip together! We're headed to Europe today for three and a half weeks and will keep friends updated via this travelblog. If you don't want to be emailed, just let me know and I will take you off the email list.

If I understand correctly, you will receive an email when I update the blog with stories or pictures. You click on the link and it takes you to the blog and you can read our latest updates and see our photos. We will be visiting London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Isle of Skye, Amsterdam, The Rhine valley of Germany, Bavaria and Munich, Paris, and Normandy. We'll be traveling by plane, train, rental car, bullet train, bus................if it rolls, we're gonna ride it at some point!

We've been planning this for quite some time. We will be reachable via our regular email addresses and we also have a Skype phone number that is local to Tennessee. If you want it, let us know and we'll email our phone number to you. We're very excited about this trip we're taking together. We have wanted to do something like this for many years....and now the kids are out of the house, Laurie's eye is in good shape, we have the time to do it.....as for that "going to Disneyland" commercial. We're going to Europe!
