The metronome view, Prague in the background
Today was moving day. It was also Laurie's birthday!
Happy birthday to the love of my life
We arose this morning, did our usual breakfast, then headed out for about half a day in Prague. We arose to another market out front this morning...but a different one than yesterday. This was a literary market, where authors will bring their books and sell them....a very interesting concept! We wandered through and checked it out.
Lunch in a random Prague barI'm pretty sure this isn't how that is spelled........
The crew had been intrigued by my trip to the metronome so I took them up to it and the fantastic views. We wandered the park, lucky enough to run across a topless sunbather! We don't have those in the states! Then we stopped at a beer garden on a bluff overlooking the city and had a drink. After that, we headed back towards the hotel, had lunch and hit a few stops along the way. David and Sheree were going to spend one more night and head home from there....but we leave today.
Prague airport
We took a car service to the airport. It was arranged by the hotel was quite efficient but pricey for Prague (about 32 bucks). But we got there very easily and the Prague airport ain't exactly close to downtown. We did all the associated things with flying then got on a British Airways flight and landed at Heathrow. A subway ride into town and check into our hotel........we're tired...and headed to bed.
Our Easyhotel in London
We plan much fun tomorrow.
