Munich Laundromat
We started out our day in Munich with laundry......and from the looks of it....so did everyone else. Sunday morning is apparently THE day to do laundry.
One of the things I really like about traveling is seeing how people do normal everyday tasks and how it is different from how we in the states do it. The laundromat is a perfect example. You pay at one central station and it runs all the washers. You put your clothes in, go back and pay, then push the corresponding button and your machine starts. It's not cheap doing laundry here at 4 euros a load and one euro for 10 minutes to dry. It needed to be done nonetheless. 
Most restrooms here are "pay to play". This one costs one Euro.
After this.....a stop at a restroom is a very different experience. Most are pay to play, and have an elaborate toll gate at the entrance. This is VERY different from the states. It costs one euro and you get a coupon for 50 cents off at some random store. Laurie and I wandered about before coming back to meet David and Sheree for lunch then we picked up our rental car and headed south...into the Alps!

We're staying in an apartment on the top floor of a hostel. The place is huge, the town is beautiful, and tomorrow we go hike the gorge near Mittenwald.
